What to do: Open Settings > Automation and use the buttons on a card there.

  • automation_above_ceiling

SourcePro does not let this piece of work do more than that yet: nothing it does can act without a person's tap today.

What to do: Keep it on drafting, or switch it off. When SourcePro lets a piece of work do more, its card says so.

What to do: Choose the next level up, and the one after it once the record has earned that too.

  • automation_gate_not_met

The record of this piece of work does not yet earn a higher level: it needs enough settled runs at its present level, enough of them issued as drafted, every run settled by a named person, and no draft left waiting too long.

What to do: Take one off the list before naming another.

  • help_already_handed_on

What to do: Open the thread you made with SourcePro (it is linked on the request) and read their answer there.

Attributes

  • attribute_duplicate_name

Your company already has an attribute with this name (capitals and spaces do not count, and one no longer in use counts too).

  • attribute_unknown_pack

There is no such pack of attributes.

What to do: Open Settings > Attributes again and choose a pack from the list.

What to do: Read the message under the field and correct it.

  • attribute_not_asked

A value was sent for an attribute this record is not asked for: it is not defined for materials, it is a file, it is no longer in use, or your plan does not include attributes.

What to do: Reload the page so the form asks for what it is asked now, and try again. Your admin sets which attributes apply under Settings > Attributes.

  • attribute_value_invalid

A value cannot be kept as it is written: a choice must be one of its options, a number must be a number, a date must be a real date, and yes or no must be a yes or a no.

What to do: Read the message under the field and correct it. To clear a value, leave the field empty.

  • contract_not_draft

Only a draft contract is changed, thrown away or sent for approval; this one is already with the approvers, approved or closed.

What to do: If it is with the approvers, wait for their answer or withdraw it. To change an approved contract, close it and write a new one.

  • contract_not_active

Only an approved contract can be closed early.

What to do: A draft is thrown away instead; one that is with the approvers is withdrawn first.

  • contract_invalid

The contract cannot be saved as it is: a vendor your company has not approved, a material that is not active, a rate or quantity that cannot be, days that are past or too far apart, or no reason given for closing it.

What to do: Read the field named under the message, fix it and save again.

  • contract_not_in_force

Orders are made only from a rate contract that is approved and between its first and last day; this one is a draft, with the approvers, closed, not started yet or past its last day.

What to do: Check the contract's state and days. A contract past its last day is replaced by a new one; one not started yet can be ordered from on its first day.

  • contract_overlap

The vendor already has an approved contract for some of the same materials in the same days and plants, so an order could not tell which rate to take.

What to do: Close the other contract first, or change this one's days or plants so they do not meet.

  • contract_not_offered

A request line is ordered from a rate contract only while the contract fits it: in force, approved vendor, the material, the plant, and the whole quantity within what is left of its cap and not below its smallest order. This one no longer does, or your company has turned off ordering lines from a contract.

What to do: Read the message on the page: it says which of these stands in the way. Reload the page for the contracts as they are now; another contract may fit, or the line goes into an RFQ.

  • price_index_invalid

A price index cannot be saved as it is: its name is missing, too short or too long, another index has the same name, the company already follows the most indexes it may, or a month's value is not a number above zero or is for a month that has not begun.

What to do: Read the message under the field it names. A name must be your own and unique; a value is the figure the index published for a month that has begun.

Vendor portal accounts

  • vendor_access_exists

The page says, for example: "... can already sign in for this vendor."

Documents for the assistant

  • knowledge_not_ready

The document's file is still being checked for viruses.

What to do: Wait a moment and index it again.

  • knowledge_file_rejected

The virus check refused this file, so it cannot be read for the assistant.

What to do: Do not use this file. Add a clean copy if you have one.

  • knowledge_file_type

Only a PDF, a Word file, a spreadsheet or a text file can be read for the assistant.

What to do: Add the document in one of those kinds. A scan or a photo has no words to find: type or export its text first.

  • knowledge_unreadable

The document has no words to read, is too long, or is damaged or locked with a password.

What to do: Add a smaller, readable copy, for example the text exported from the original.

  • knowledge_limit

Your company has as many documents for the assistant as it may.

What to do: Remove a document you no longer need, then add this one.

  • knowledge_off

Your company has turned off the assistant's looking in its documents.

What to do: Ask your company admin to turn it on under Settings > Rules.

What to do: Read the message: it says what stands in the way. Reload the page to see the latest state; once that is resolved, try again.

  • approval_changes_not_allowed

The policy, or the record type, takes none. The page may say, for example: "Your company's policy does not let approvers change it: approve it as it is,."

Privacy requests

What to do: Wait for one to be answered, then ask again. Where each stands is on My data.

  • privacy_company_not_yours

You asked a company that you do not work for or speak for.

What to do: Choose one of your own companies, or ask SourcePro.

  • privacy_request_already_answered

    Someone already answered this request.

What to do: Reload the list: it shows the answer.

  • privacy_account_still_tied

The account cannot be made anonymous yet: it still belongs to a company, holds a SourcePro role or has vendor access.

What to do: Ask the company to remove the person first (or end the role or the access), then answer again.

  • privacy_erase_only_for_erasure

Making an account anonymous goes only with a request to delete.

What to do: Answer without that choice, or answer the request to delete instead.

Support inbox

  • support_request_closed

SourcePro's team cannot write to a request that is closed; only the person who asked can open it again by writing.

What to do: Reload to see the request as it is now. If more is needed, ask the person to write again.

  • support_already_handed_back

This request was already passed back to the company's own helpers. A request is passed back once, and it is closed here once it is.

What to do: The company's helpers have it as a request of their own, and the number it became is on this one. Nothing more is done here.

  • support_company_gone

The company this request came from has left SourcePro, so there is no one at the company to pass it back to.

What to do: Answer the person here if they can still be reached, or close the request.

  • ai_budget_reached

A budget your company set (yours, your department's or the feature's) is reached for now: an hour, a day, a week or a month.

What to do: Try again when the budget's time has passed, or ask your company's admin to raise it (Settings > AI).

  • ai_reservation_closed

What to do: Nothing to do: ask again if you did not get your answer.

What to do: Take at most what the message says is free.

What to do: Choose the person, department or feature from the list.

  • ai_feature_stopped

What to do: Ask your company's admin to turn AI on for you under Settings > AI > People.

What to do: Choose someone from the list of your company's people.

The end day for this person's AI is today or a day still to come, not more than a year away, and needs AI to be turned on or off for them.

What to do: Choose a day from today up to a year ahead, or leave it empty to keep the choice until you change it.

What to do: Try again when it is on, or ask your company's admin about the quiet hours under Settings > AI.

  • ai_no_model

SourcePro has no AI model switched on for what this feature needs, so it cannot answer yet.

What to do: Try again later; SourcePro's team sets the models up on the admin site.

  • ai_model_unavailable

The AI service did not answer: it may be down or busy. Nothing was used from your company's credits.

What to do: Try again in a moment.

  • ai_model_refused

The AI service's own safety checks refused this request. Nothing was used from your company's credits.

What to do: Ask it another way, with fewer details if the request held a lot of text.

  • ai_provider_not_set_up

A model cannot be put on that provider: this server is not set up to reach it (for example Azure OpenAI without its endpoint, or a model on a developer's own computer, which a live server never uses).

What to do: Choose a provider the AI page lists as set up, or ask SourcePro's engineers to set the provider up on the server first.

  • ai_unknown_feature

There is no AI feature of that name: it may have been removed in a release.

What to do: Reload the AI page: it lists the features this release has.

What to do: Use a group for that.

What to do: Write the name in your message without tagging, or ask your company's admin to allow tags under Settings > Rules.
